Mount Airy won the 1A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Championship with South Stokes’ Sawyer Slate winning the 1A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Individual Championship.Â

Salisbury won the 2A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Championship with West Wilkes’ Slater Meade winning the 2A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Individual Championship.Â
3A
Stuart Cramer won the 3A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Championship with East Lincoln’s Warren Stiglitz winning the 3A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Individual Championship.Â
4A
Pinecrest won the 4A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Championship with Charlotte Catholic’s Will Hartman winning the 4A NCHSAA Boy’s Golf Individual Championship.

Track & Field
The 2025 NCHSAA Track & Field Playoffs concluded on May 17 at Marcus T. Johnson Track at NC A&T University in Greensboro.
 
  
Philip Blum, a standout track and field athlete from Riverside High School in Durham, won the 4A State Championship in track and field in the 1600-meter race and the 3200-meter race, earning gold medals in both events. This season, he won the 1600-meter race with a personal best of 4:03.85 at the Carolina Distance Carnival in April 2025, earning the #5 ranked time in the county among high school athletes for the 2024-2025 season.
Philp will graduate from Riverside with a 4.7 GPA and has committed to NC State, where in the fall he will run Cross Country and Track and Field for the Wolfpack. Â

Corvian Community won the 2025 Boy’s NCHSAA 1A Track & Field Championship and Swain County won the 2025 Girl’s 1A Track & Field Championship.

Seaforth won the 2025 Boy’s NCHSAA 2A Track & Field Championship and Cummings won the 2025 Girl’s 2A Track & Field Championship.
