The N.C. Basketball Coaches Association has released its all-district teams for the 2025-2026 season.
All-district teams are voted on by coaches who are members of the NCBCA. Players from N.C. High School Athletic Association member schools are eligible for selection, regardless of class.
Two boys and three girls from Durham Public Schools were selected to the all-district team this year for District 6.
In addition, Teddy McKoy, the head coach of the Southern Durham girls basketball team, was named the District 6 Coach of the Year.
McKoy has helped Southern Durham’s girls basketball team to a 27-3 record so far, including an unbeaten mark in the Tobacco Road Conference. The Spartans will play North Mecklenburg in the 7A state championship game on Saturday at 5 p.m. in Winston-Salem.

Boys Basketball
- AJ Morman Jr. (Southern Durham) – 1st Team, District 6
- Keyonee Terry Jr. (Southern Durham) – 1st Team, District 6
Girls Basketball
- Ashlyn Hudson (Southern Durham) – 1st Team, District 6
- Jakayla Palmer (Southern Durham) – 1st Team, District 6
- Faith Yon (Durham School of the Arts) – 1st Team, District 6
Teddy McKoy (Southern Durham) – Coach of the Year, District 6
